Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Commitment

Benscash is committed to not being used for money laundering, terrorist financing or the circumvention of international sanctions, and to applying the laws and regulations in force on these matters.

2. Risk-based approach

Benscash assesses the risks of its activity: nature of the product (a prepaid coupon that can be given to a third party), amounts, distance selling channel, countries involved and customer profile. Due diligence measures are proportionate to this level of risk.

3. Due diligence measures

Benscash applies due diligence measures: identification of buyers (see KYC policy), a cumulative order limit of €500,000 per month, monitoring of transactions, refusal of payments made with a payment method the buyer clearly does not own, and screening of sanctioned countries and persons.

4. Suspicious transactions

Warning signs include: multiple split orders, high-value purchases without justification, use of several payment methods by the same buyer, inconsistent information or refusal to provide documents. Such transactions are reviewed and may be suspended. Where the law requires, they are reported to the competent authority without informing the customer concerned.

5. Data retention

Data and documents relating to transactions and customer identification are kept for 5 years from the end of the business relationship or the transaction, in accordance with the regulations.

6. Governance and training

A Benscash compliance officer is appointed. The people concerned are trained to detect suspicious transactions.

7. Consequences

Benscash may refuse an order, block or cancel a coupon, freeze the funds concerned and end the relationship in case of breach of this policy or where a legal obligation requires it.

KYC policy (know your customer)

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Purpose

This policy describes the identity checks Benscash carries out in order to know its customers, prevent fraud and meet its obligations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.

2. Information collected at order

For every order, Benscash collects the buyer's last name, first names, country, city, address, phone number and email address. For a gift, the recipient's email address is also collected.

3. Enhanced verification

Additional identity verification may be requested before or after the order in the following cases: an amount or total of orders reaching the limit of €500,000 over one month, repeated or unusual orders, inconsistency between the information provided and the payment method, a high-risk country or situation, or suspected fraud.

Documents that may be requested are: a valid official identity document, a recent proof of address and, if necessary, proof of the source of funds.

4. Consequences of refusal or failure

If the user does not provide the documents requested or if their verification fails, Benscash may suspend or cancel the order or coupon and refund to the original payment method, unless the law requires otherwise.

5. Retention and protection of documents

Identification documents are handled confidentially, only by authorized people, and kept for the applicable legal period, namely 5 years after the end of the relationship. They are never used for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for how to exercise your rights.

Transaction security policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Commitment

Benscash implements technical and organizational measures to protect payments, user data and the integrity of the coupons issued.

2. Secure payment

Payments are processed by an approved third-party payment provider subject to the PCI-DSS standard. Card payments are protected by 3-D Secure strong authentication when the bank requires it. All communications with the site and with the provider are encrypted over HTTPS (TLS).

Card data is passed on to the provider only transiently to carry out the payment. Benscash does not record, log or retain it.

3. Coupon issuance

A coupon is issued only after a payment notification sent directly by the provider to our servers, whose status is re-verified with the provider before any issuance. A user simply returning to the site never triggers the issuance of a coupon.

Each code is randomly generated, unique, and sent only to the email address given in the order.

4. Fraud detection

Benscash and its provider apply anti-fraud controls: amount checks, order consistency checks and detection of abnormal behavior. A suspicious order may be suspended or refused, and proof of identity may be requested.

5. System security

Access keys to payment services are stored outside the source code in protected environment variables, and access to administration tools is limited to authorized people. Systems are updated regularly.

6. Good practice for users

Check that you are on Benscash's official domain, never share your coupon code with a stranger, and do not open emails asking for your password or bank details: Benscash never asks for them.

7. Reporting an incident

To report a suspicious transaction, fraud or security flaw, write immediately to support@benscash.com describing the situation. In the event of a personal data breach, Benscash informs the competent authority or authorities and the people concerned as provided by the GDPR.
